WEB Du Bois used the term "TALENTED TENTH" to describe the likelihood of one in ten black men becoming leaders of their race in the world, through methods such as continuing their education, writing books, or becoming directly involved in social change.

Opening day of the Venice skate park. This might not be the most radical of skateboarding pictures, BUT it was from a very important historical day in skateboarding. Venice has been a hub of the skate scene since the Dog Town days and it only took 30 years to get a skate park! Anyway, everyone enjoyed themselves and the park hasn’t been empty yet so it must have been a good investment.
